Behind the Scenes: Creating Nigeria’s Unique Travel Handbook

Working on this project truly was both a pleasure and a privilege. Spanning several years, it gave me the chance to explore Nigeria’s incredible diversity and beauty in depth. Throughout the journey, I was constantly excited and inspired. Along the way, I gained not only historical and cultural knowledge but also countless human insights. I am deeply grateful to the Zaria Emirate, the National Troupe of Nigeria in Calabar, the people and artists from Abuja Arts & Crafts Village, all the institutions involved in the project, and to Iris Smart Technologies, who entrusted me with this task. There were so many individuals whose generosity and support made this journey possible—even if I can’t mention everyone by name, I remember their kindness and help.
